HELLO THERE!!
Hi! I'm Caroline and currently have 11 Whippets (but with one young lady about to have her first litter that number could be added to soon!), 2 cats, 1 shubunkin, a husband and a lovely new garden!! We used to have gundogs, mainly Cockers and English Springers, but now OH owns his ESS in partnership with a friend who has a boarding kennels in Yorkshire so suits me fine!! I also had a Borzoi, so have a deep affection for them. The main activity with the Whippies is showing but I do lure course them on a regular basis. My other love is horses, I have promised myself that when I retire I shall have another one! Hopefully, a pure-bred Arab (I had part-breds before) ...... one can dream!

Re: HELLO THERE!!
Hi Caroline,
There does'nt seem to be many of us on here yet...but I am sure this will change very soon.
I never realised that you & I had a similar "background" ~ we started out with working gundogs too (ESS's,Weimaraners & Flat Coats) and we also have horses as you already know (though we don't have Denzil the PB Arab anymore),it's funny how many people who have whippets also come from a "horsey" background...my theory with this is that they naturally have a good eye and can see movement. Strangely enough we also have a cat and fish!
Anyway,GOOD LUCK with the forthcoming litter I hope all goes well for you and her, keep us posted. And WELCOME to the forum!

Even if you can't figure out Photobucket theres always imageshack.us
I used to use photobucket but since it changed I can't upload, this computer won't load up onto it.
But like I said Imageshacks just as easy to use.

Rupert is involved indirectly as he is a son of Derohan Lochangel and the sire of the litter is Derohan Himself, Lochangel's litter brother.
Sophie is a daughter of TJ who is by Joli Mec du Manoir de la Grenouillere. Rupert's sire is Nec du Manoir etc who is also by Joli Mec, so that makes TJ ........ Rupert's uncle!!! Are you following so far!!!!
Sophie's grandmother is also a litter sister of Rupert. All sounds a bit incestuous but it is a good pedigree on paper! The main reason I used Jamie is that he is the last remaining son of my beloved Dessie.
